POSITION OVERVIEW


               Part of your responsibilities will be to aide in maintaining and developing store strategies to increase sales expand store traffic and optimize profitability.  Meeting sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to the team will help ensure these successes.

 

You will oversee the showroom sales floor and assistant the store manager in the success of your store.  Building a strong foundation, to achieve and exceed retail sales goals will be key in doing so.  In taking pride in your store, high visual standards will be encouraged.


The Retail Associate should exude professionalism and be well versed in all aspects of running a successful brick and mortar store, including providing excellent customer service. Working closely with the all retail team members to achieve but are not limited to, meeting sales expectations/goals, contributing Ideas and best practices, and maintaining/monitoring Inventory levels.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

 

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
  • Welcomes customers by greeting them; offering them assistance.
  • Directs customers by escorting them to displays and counters; suggesting items.
  • Advises customers by providing information on products.
  • Helps customer make selections by building customer confidence; offering suggestions and opinions.
  • Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas
  • Actively seek out customers in store
  • Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options
  • Processes payments by totaling purchases; processing checks, cash, and store or other credit cards.
  • Keeps clientele informed by notifying them of preferred customer sales and future merchandise of potential interest.

 QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Proven working experience as sales associate
  • Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
  • Working knowledge of customer and market dynamics and requirements
  • Track record of over-achieving sales quota
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer service focus
  • High school degree; BS degree in Marketing or related field would be a plus

Working closely with the retail management team will include, but are not limited to, meeting sales expectations/goals, contributing Ideas and best practices, and maintaining/monitoring Inventory levels.

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Oversee retail store operations to ensure growth, profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain, monitor and update Inventory levels, including new product allocations, out of stock/low stock through Lightspeed.
  • Process transactions, refunds, and gift cards.
  • Overseeing pricing of retail product in stores.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Retail to determine what product should be featured/offered in stores.
  • Response and management of all customer service Inquires.
  • Ensure all payments are processed accurately.
  • Ongoing data management, analyzation of store traffic, and sales reporting.
  • Create and maintain relevant reports and KPIs that detail the effectiveness and business impact from digital merchandising activities to understand customer behavior on the sales platforms.
  • Aide in creating store policies and procedures and ensure compliance.
  • Identify retail partners, nurture relationships, and implement pop up shops
  • Attend weekly Store Managers Retail meeting.
  • Perform Quarterly Reviews with Retail teams.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field desired.
  • 3+ years of consumer products experience.
  • Knowledge of project management.
  • Ability to maintain high level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Must be reliable, responsible and dependable.
  • Strong analysis and critical thinking skills; monitors own work and able to develop new methods for improvement
