Union Terminal Bookends

These bookends were created by Rookwood Pottery artist Arthur Conant to commemorate the completion of the Cincinnati Union Terminal. They were given as gifts to dignitaries at the terminal’s dedication on March 31, 1933. This set of bookends proved to be the catalyst responsible for Rookwood returning to Cincinnati after a 46 year hiatus.
