Double Framed Test Tile in a Dark Walnut stain. The tiles are from the Poor People’s March on Washington, with each tile having two applications of glaze. To test opacity of glaze, heavier and lighter spray weights are used. As a general rule, heavier spray weights will obscure the imagery as long as the colorants are opaque. This was a test of a translucent blue-green Tonto in four different spray weights. The right most section is sprayed too thin, thus the gritty feel of the surface. Glaze notation on the back.
